Michael W. Griffin,
As Clerk-Treasurer for the town of Highland, I am pleased to welcome you to our on-line information portal. This web site has been created to provide a wealth of information we hope you will find helpful – whether you are a resident, business owner or an individual looking for a community to call home.
I tell people I am home-grown Highland and I mean it. I am a proud product of the town’s stellar public schools, nurtured by a community that embraces the credo of neighbor helping neighbor. My parents chose Highland because it had everything they were looking for in a home town. My wife, Christy, and I, choose to live in Highland for the same reason – to provide a quality life for our daughter, Abigail.
The Clerk-Treasurer’s office serves as the fiscal arm of municipal government. In that capacity, the office is responsible for budgeting and fiscal analysis as well as record-keeping. Within this section of the website, you will find details about Highland’s ward boundaries, trending data regarding our community’s residents and businesses as well as information about our Matrimonial Bureau.
If you have questions, please call my office at (219) 838-1080 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may also contact us via e-mail.
